How about 16 miles, 7 miles, or even 3 miles, the LOWA annual 2 Dam Days race weekend has something for everyone. New in 2016 is the opportunity for individuals and teams to "challenge" another team or individual giving your team the chance to win your registration free as well as local team sponsors the opportunity for some great advertising. Also new in 2016 will be a Stand Up Paddle Board race, and the chance for racers to be raise awareness for the LOWA mission.

There Awards will be given for a variety of racers. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE Anything goes racers to to continue the tradition of what the race stands for; ANYTHING GOES! Build your own boat, and be creative, as long as there is no motor you are good to go! The sexy 7 is a great race for the intermediate paddler who enjoys the paddle without the stress of the competition.

Ready to race, but need a little help with the registration? Or maybe, you want to challenge another company, your best friend, a family member? New this year to the 2 Dam Days weekend events is the LOWA challenge. You can choose whoever you wish to challenge, or whoever you wish to ask for support in seeing you race and for every $100.00 raised you will receive a free registrations in either of Anything Goes, The Sexy 7, or The stand-Up Paddle Board plus your team name, or company name on your racers 2 dam days shirt. Racing Tandem, no problem raise $150 and your partner receives the same. For every $250 raised you may upgrade your race to the Sweet 16 and for every $300 to the extreme. With each challenge you will receive the following:
1 Racer registration in Anything Goes, or Sexy 7, or stand-Up Paddle Board
A Personal website for you to direct family, friends, and sponsors to help you reach your goal
A Challenge Website to send out to those you wish to challenge
A Tshirt with your team name or company name
Acknowledgement on the LOWA website
All of the above plus the option of the registration in the Sweet 16

New this year is the Paddle Push, a 4.5 mile or 7 mile Stand-Up Paddle Board race. Join LOWA in the Lake of the Ozarks inaugural 2 Dam Days Paddle Push for the newer great sport of Paddle Boards. 4.5 miles is a great way for beginners to be introduced to the fun and exciting sport of Paddle boarding, while the 7 mile course is for the more experienced. With enough entries LOWA hopes to make the Paddle Push a great race that can be continued through the years. Certificates will be given to those in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following categories:

*In order for a category to be paid out with listed winning amounts the race category to be paid must have no less than 3 racers for the specified category. I.E. in order for the Female award to be paid to a solo racer at least 3 solo female racers must be registered and paid at race time.Tandem Female bonuses must be a fully female team. Races without the required number of entries for winning payouts will be have winning payouts reduced in accordance with number of registrants.
